Teaching in remote areas of Papua New Guinea, the story of Mathilda

Teaching in remote areas has many challenges. A shortage of primary school teachers and facilities continue to be a problem throughout Papua New Guinea, and many schools lack qualified teachers, especially in the more remote communities. Where there are no teachers, schools are simply closed, leading to many children not attending school.
