The Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS) implemented a project “Glocalization – a key to sustainable development from local to global level. EYD2015 and EU Presidency Project for the Latvian EU Presidency 2015″.
Project’s objective: Glocalization – empowerment of people at individual, community, country, European and global level for that leads to the sustainable global development and reduction of poverty.
Target groups: LAPAS members and other civil society actors, decision makers in Latvia and Europe, grassroots citizens from Latvia, Europe and developing countries, media and citizens.

EYD2015 and EU Presidency Project for the Latvian EU Presidency 2015″ execution is funded by European Union (90%), Society Integration Foundation (5,42%) and Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Latvia (4,58%). It is implemented by Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation (LAPAS) in collaboration with three member organizations – “homo ecos”, Latvian Farmer’s Federation (LZF) and Latvian Rural forum.
